Venue Spotlight- 2941

Earlier this fall, I had the wonderful opportunity to photography an event at 2941 Restaurant. I just fell in love with this place! The food was so delicious and menu was thoughtful with developed taste. The grounds are great too, as a photographer I'm always looking for spaces with great outdoors for portraits, and this place has many options. Here are a few images.

An Officer and a Beauty

On a casual meet on a beach in Florida a few years ago pairs of friends found their life-partners.I had the pleasure of documenting Kelly & Chris, a talented beauty and Army Lieutenant, wedding last Saturday. It was supposed to rain  the whole day, but thankfully it lightly drizzled when it was time for shooting outdoor portraits around the Fort Myers Base. The trees had wonderful fall colors.

Isn't this couple's love magnetic! I was so honored to document their special day! Enjoy these teasers! More to come.

California Dreamin'

....on such a winter's day.... (Great song from The Mamas And The Papas)

I had a wonderful time participating in this trash the dress shoot in late February. This was a 6am shoot,YIKES! If you all know me, you know I'm a late owl not an early bird. It took a lot for me to get up at 6am, but I couldn't miss it. It was incredibly chilly for being in sunny So-Cal (Santa Barbara to be exact), yet our bride remained poised as braced for the chilly breeze and freezing water! It was overcast and misty which helped create this soft and dreamy feel. This is one of my favorite images from that morning.
Enjoy!

M&J's Wedding Teaser

This couple were less interested formalities; just wanted to absorb and experience all the fun that night. I had the chance to take a few quick portraits of them.  This is one of my favorites. More to come.

Justin & Amelia's Wedding Teaser

I had the pleasure of photographing an intimate wedding for one of the sweetest couple, Justine and Amelia. Their wedding was held at the WWI memorial. They met each other in college, and lived in DC for a few years, and even though they currently reside in the south, they knew they  had to return to DC to wed. Congratulations! Enjoy! More to come. Happy #weddingwednesday

Teaser from Geoff & Annie's Engagement Session

Teaser from Geoff & Annie's Engagement Session. I had so much fun with this sweet couple on their morning session in Old Town Alexandria. They met as working at an elementary school, they both were teachers. I can't wait to share more. Recap to come.

Enjoy!
